Telling brehs NOT to pursue careers in law enforcement, military, politcs, etc. seems like hustling backwards to me.

How "pro-black" do you have to be to think having ZERO black people in positions of power/influence in this country will somehow make it better for us?:what:

Obviously yeah some are gonna be c00ns frfr but it is what it is :manny: There are c00nish doctors, psychologists, dentists, and engineers.

Whenever I see someone say some shyt like that I know they don't critically think

If you don't believe in the laws, reason for conflicts, or government it doesn't make sense to be enforcing them. Changing the laws is different from literally frontlining and putting your life and other people in danger

My aunt was a fed. I also have a lot of family that went in the military, some law enforcement. Those Black folks wanted to make their world better. I've even got firearm training from a lot of Black LEO / Military folks. :yeshrug:

It's funny because you climb up the ranks as a black man the people at the top are white... you mean nothing your just a figurehead. they would never let a black man be at the top with unfettered control... You can join those organizations all you want...:sas2: just be aware there's always a ceiling for you...

There is little to no place for us in right wing politics. With that said we have a pretty high presence in the other areas you mentioned and it's growing.

If you are only discussing the sentiment and not the numbers I agree. It's goofy. Especially military.

You right breh, ESPECIALLY the military where you can work your way into a position of power (to varying degrees) by just working and staying in long enough and not being a dumbass. Its also probably the easiest way into the middle class/financial flexibility.

For as little wealth the black community has collectively, telling brehs not to join something that will teach them a real skill, keep them (relatively) healthy, and most importantly pull them out of poverty and give their family a huge step forward in life. And im just speaking on enlisting.

If you tell brehs not to commission... let me just say, as a former black enlisted member, we desperately need more black officers in the military. I'll keep it at that.

Black people have reached the top in all these areas.

They are idiots. If Black folks were over represented in certain industries such as policing that would give us political leverage.
-This. I tell young Black people all the time we need to stop screaming fukk the police & actually start being the police. Gang members aren't beneficial soldiers for the community.
