Some are like that not all. I think the ones who are like that rationalize their lack of concern by saying well you're a man and you need to toughen up and figure it out. They think if they show empathy, pity or concern it makes you feminine and them masculine. They rationalize their selfishness. A chick like that I would respond "you right give me my snack back and get out my crib.
