as much as i hate to admit it...we are nearing the end of the ICE reign
I'm sure some will still be around but as luxury toys rather then an everyday necessity.
It only makes sense to go electric, once the infrastructure is in place then it's a wrap. its like what happend to the typewriter when the PC was introduced. Sidekick when the iPhone launched, Ja Rule when 50 got hot. 50's career when his 2nd album dropped

Yep, that Tesla is too nice. It didn't need a burnout because it's AWD because of 2 motors powering all 4 wheels. If that Hellcat driver would have got a clean take off it would have been a much better race. I still think the Tesla would have won but if that Hellcat would have had a good set of drag slicks, I think it would have took the win. Either way, that Tesla is a hell of a car. I can't afford one but I see a bunch of them since my work building is next to our Power Company's building and they bought a few Teslas as work cars.
After finally watching it, I don't see what the fuss was. Horrible driver vs an electric car. With a competent driver the Hellcat is not as fast off the line but should beat the Tesla in the quarter mile.

Doubtful.
AWD and 100% torque from the start is hard to beat with RWD and an engine that needs to rev.
