Kel’El Ware must be really pushing the coaching staff’s buttons for Spoelstra to call him out in public like that.

And I am sure Spo is itching to get the Heat back deep in the playoffs to show people last year was a fluke and he can have success without Jimmy so he wants the players he’s gonna depend on to lead the team to be on READY mode

Shaq might be right.

With the East being so wide open, if this team gets a good “closer” they’ll be right in the thick of things.

Problem is too many things have to go right:

• Herro and Bam have to play up to expectations
• Kel’El Ware and Pelle Larson have to take that progressive leap they are expected to. Which some think Larson is ready to contribute heavy this year. Ware… can be on and off
• I’m not sold on the rookie PG based on what I’ve seen and heard from summer leagues but they seem still optimistic on him.
• If Jovic can be healthy and continue to improve upon last year …

It’s always about what can you get for him.

Herro is a good player. Not a star but still a very good player. If you’re gonna give him up it better be for someone worth it. Can’t just get rid of him just to get rid of him while his value is up as you would someone like Duncan Robinson. Herro is too good of a player for you to trade him just because his value is up.
