Yeah I think so…I think Take Care was a personal classic. Yeah he makes popular songs, but those who say he's wack are conveniently forgetting how he usually has the best verses when featured on song with anyone so far. I mean what else do dudes want from him. I think people wanna hear coke rhymes and gun talk from him just so they can complain about how fake he is with that stuff and have a reason to hate on him. Also dude's best songs don't even be singles. Cash Money did the right thing by letting their artists have and their own lanes without forcing them to sound like each other or always be in videos with each other.

nelly is a good comparison....nelly has no classic albums and shytload of singles that was on the radio during is run..neither of them has shown any raw MC talent outside of the studio lol....nelly today is rich but walks around with a chip on his shoulder because he thinks because he sold more albums than anyone not named eminem in rap in the last decade he should get respect...KRS told that nikka what time it was but he didnt listen...i can see drake going down the same route if he doesn't evolve

What are we considering the run? Popularity or biggest nikka in rap? Because the other artists, unlike Drake, have all been the biggest nikka in rap at some point. If we're just going by mainstream popularity, Drake's run has only been since 2010-2014

Nelly's run was from 2000-2005 and he sold 25 million records between that time, just in the US

Ja Rule's run was from 1999-2003

MC Hammer's run was from 1988-1992

I think Drake is a far better MC than any of them and WILL last longer but hasn't yet.
