TN isn't going purple over abortion as a man who lives in TN.
What they are hoping for is to get this in front of the Supreme Court for a challenge. They will keep trying it until they get the supreme court majority they want for passage. It will probably fail if this occurs before the election. If trump wins, well he definitely is getting 1-2+ supreme court seats and then this shyt is passing.
If abortion is murder of a baby, why is it ok in the case of rape and incest? Isn't the issue that you're murdering, as many people call it, a baby who has no say in the matter? Why does the fact it was conceived of incest or rape matter? Aren't you still murdering the baby all the same which is considered the greatest sin according to the people who argue this?
At least TN is being honest and not trying to weasel out of this contradiction. If you're against abortion because its murder, it being the result of incest or rape does not matter. This isn't even my belief but there is an easy argument for this. God has a plan for everyone and just because something horrible happened to you does not mean you have the right to murder an innocent baby.

I'm just saying, if you're going to be anti-abortion, don't try to find weasel routes to make your position perceptively an easier political pill to swallow. The only reason this "except in the case of rape and incest" line exists is for anti-abortion advocates to try move the overton window more towards outlawing abortion, mostly. Its kind of a p*ssy move. Because honestly, like they are doing in TN, most anti-abortion advocates don't even believe it should be ok in those cases either. They just know that the public isn't ready for that yet.

The source shares that Chavez advised Kamala not to attend the Al Smith dinner because it could send the wrong message and risk alienating LGBTQ and pro-abortion voters if she was seen cozying up to Catholics.
Instead Chavez suggested a compromise of sending in the poorly-received video in lieu of an in-person appearance.
Chavez was in tears during the phone call as Kamala shred her to pieces, called her an idiot, inept, horrible at your f-ing job, and told her that her stupid advice is going to be the reason she loses.
The joy is gone.

I voted early Wednesday the 16th in Weakly Co. Tennessee. I press the Kamala Harris button and the Trump button lite up! I pressed the Gloria Johnson button and the Marsha Blackburn name lite up! Be Cautious Folks!
