Terminator X has something mixed up, he said one label wanted to put Method Man as a hot rapper on X's debut album, but that dropped in 1991 and Method wasn't on anyone's radar then.

As a kid, the terminator x album was one of the first cds I ever purchased. My dad had a cd boombox, and I’d play the shyt out of it when he wasn’t around.

I remember how X wouldn’t really speak during Public Enemy interviews in the early days. He still has difficulty carrying a conversation, and really doesn’t give a lot of insight with his comments. But I’m happy to see him doing well.

I was surprised that he knew his stuff in this interview. In vids posted before, Ive seen artists from roughly the same era as P.E. make references that go over his head.
He could have meant Redman. He would have been fresh off of his EPMD guest spots and recording for his debut.

That would make more sense, although you would think X signing to RAL wouldn't be an impediment to that since Redman was on the same label. If anything that would make it easier to get him. But who knows?
