Why did Gresham choose that name?

The definition of terminus is "a final point in space or time; an end or extremity".
The etymology of terminus is that it is the Latin word for a boundary or limit.
There is a minor Roman god called Terminus who is the god of boundaries/property.

Seems like an odd choice for a wrestling company's name.

Baron Black: "Terminus is a very distinctive name. A name that was chosen on purpose. A lot of people do not know much of the history of Atlanta, Georgia. But Atlanta, Georgia used to be called Terminus back in the 1800s when all the railroads would all meet here at this point. And then now known as Atlanta, Georgia. So it used to be called Terminus back in the day in 1800s. So I wanted to keep a name that would be historic to Atlanta, and that will represent Atlanta. And a lot of people don't know that's kind of how Terminus came to be within the storyline of The Walking Dead. Because, that was the old name of the actual city of Atlanta."

That backstory is cool.
Didn't know Baron Black was a part of this venture either.
I like that ATL is going to be their home base.
That makes the product feel special and creates a bond with fans that is different than touring shows.
Like how the ECW Arena was or how ROH, NWA and Impact all have home arenas where they broadcast their shows from.
That is what AEW needs to do with Rampage instead of shooting it on the road.
