This thread has got me :dead:

But yea, we gon sit here and pretend that Seattle, a metropolitan city, isnt only 7% black?:sas1:

Would ya'll brothers say that Rhode Island is diverse? :sas2:

Didnt think so:skip:

Do you know what diversity means?:snoop:

Seattle,Portland,SF,Los Angeles all have black populations around the same percentage..... but they're some of the most diverse cities in the US.

:usure:

Only difference is Seattle is close to 70% white whereas, say San Fran, is merely 42%. LA, only 40% white. Etc...

Like I said before- Seattle is as diverse as Rhode Island:mjlol:

U can go by statistics or actually live in the area and see who actually lives here. Seattle is definitely whiter than other major cities (+500K) on the West Coast along with Portland and if you only stay in the core of the city, then u will probably see mostly whites. But outside of the city center, especially in the southend u will see a lot more diversity. My grandfather lives in Rainier Beach, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in America. I stay in Federal Way, where u can find every type of person.

But the West Coast is not heavily populated with black people no matter where u go besides Oakland. And yall know about gentrification and how its killing cities with large black populations. So just think what it did to a city where the black populations peak was only 10% in the mid 90s. If u need your city to be 30% or more black then the West probably aint for u.

Everytime I goto the west coast, I am always surprised about the lack of black people. The way everyone talks about Cali, you would think there was a strong presence- but there truly is a dearth of black people out there (besides the bay area). Even a white east coast city like Boston has waaaay more AA's than your typical west coast city.

But with respects to overall diversity and Seattle- Seattle aint close to diverse :pachaha:

Yeah people forget America is still over 70% white and blacks are usually in the south and east coast. But the West is usually more diverse than other cities. I actually grew up in Decatur, GA right outside Atlanta and my area was over 95% black lol. Not diverse at all.
