Most drivers sit there and see to it that the child is met by an adult, makes it to their doorstep, whatever, before even closing the doors let alone actually pulling off. Two adults sitting right there and neither of them had the presence of mind to see her safely off the bus. I mean she couldn’t even get all the way off before the bus driver was taking off dragging her down the street. Just complete f*cking incompetence.

I’m hoping she was at least fired, charged with some form of child negligence, and the school district sued. Sh*t was inexcusable. And it was so casual that you can tell she habitually transports those kids with that same nonchalant absent mindedness every day. I understand how, over time, repetition can do that to a person but it’s inexcusable when children’s lives are on the line.

I don’t even want to find out. That poor girl. 1,000 feet is a really, really long way to be dragged by an automobile/bus. And that’s assuming you’re being dragged in the road over relatively even pavement.

This poor child was dragged along the SHOULDER, where the pavement is often jagged, there’s mailboxes, rocks and stones, bottles, and all the other crap that ppl toss out their cars. It’s just absolutely awful. 1,000 ft is getting up there close to the 1/4 mile neighborhood. Imagine being dragged along the shoulder of a road for almost a 1/4 mile. Now imagine being 6 when it happens. She might possibly be traumatized for life from this sh*t.

And I’m trying not to have too much angst towards the driver, lord knows she probably feels like she’s living a real life nightmare. She’s experiencing what I’m sure is every school bus drivers worst fear, injuring a child. But damn man there’s gotta be some accountability for this sh*t and it has to be heavy. F*ck that lil “civil suit”.

I believe it 100 percent, they aren't just trying to get a big check.

The article on the incident says that the girl suffered damage to %12 of her body and required multiple surgeries. Probably has really bad scarring too, they fukked this little girl up for life.
