The whole "asymptomatic" thing is crazy. They can tell ANYONE they have this killer virus but they're just asymptomatic.

They can literally just put that scarlet letter on anyone and there's nothing a person can do to contest it.

Your own family will believe the positive test over you.

This is not the only virus disease than can be transmitted by asymptomatic people. So because one doesn't have any symptoms they should just keep it pushing? Do you use that same advice for people wih STD's and such?

How invasive was the Coronavirus test? At the Trump press conference today he said there was a new less invasive test that takes only 15 minutes. Don't know when it will be ready though.

Took about 10-15 seconds. 5-7 seconds up each nostril til they reach the back. Scraped some of the mucus and pulled it out. Not the end of the world by any means

If you tested positive how did you catch it? The fact nobody knows who's spreading it and who's not seems like a question the government would want to know. Now I hear people in prison are infected and can't see how unless it's coming from the prison staff.

I still don't know anyone who's infected in North Carolina.

I was out in the world bro. I work in retail, I went to stores to shop, I was at the Landry mat the day I started getting the symptoms.

and yea I’m sure new prisoner are coming in daily and they dealing with staff who’s out dealing with the general public daily. Would be pretty easy to spread in a prison. Everyone is on top of each other, prisons dirty as hell, dirty ass showers, toilets, prisoners making and serving each other food.

The sooner you know the better, if you wait until your lungs are to the point you have to go on a ventilator your chances of survival dramatically decrease. Also there is still the fact that you could be spreading it to others where if it isn't fatal to you, it can be fatal to those around you. Y'all are really thinking too hard about this.

Again, I understand your point but I think you're missing the core of what I'm saying. It's really not that difficult.

A negative test doesn't mean you're immune, and you still could contract the virus. Therefore we're right back to square one of social distancing as if you had the virus anyway.

IF you test positive you'll likely be sent home and told to self-quarantine. Sure you now know for sure that you are positive; but there's no medication or treatment so this isn't really any different than standard social distancing guidelines.

Technically we should all be practicing social distancing as if we have the virus anyway. Unless you are ill enough to potentially be admitted to the hospital explain how testing positive or negative actually changes what you would do after getting the result?

Well I got it. And I’m pretty sure I’m over it at this point. But my symptoms were very mild. I had a cough and felt hot for one day. The next day i had chills all night at work, but not once did I spike a fever. Currently it’s been about 6 days since symptoms started. My job wants me back at work on Monday
