That’s crazy. Diamonds have a market that is controlled. You can research on your own how much a .5-2 carat diamond cost. Then you “should” know if your partner can afford it. Imagine rocking a 2 carat princess cut rock, knowing that’s a natural diamond of that size with H clarity starts a 15K. Knowing that’s your wedding was less than 5k

Lab created diamonds is where it’s at. Place value on artificially inflated rocks that can be created in a lab and look flawless married Brehettes.
