Time for school.

The difference in Mack and Sumlin, is Mack was already playing for conference titles by season 2. Back then, the Holiday Bowl was the #2 Big XII team. Texas was moving forward and getting better. Sumlin isn't and A&M is regressing. Our classes after Mack's first season were crazy and were pretty much what formed Mack's reputation as a recruiter. A&M has not even come close to that type of recruiting, especially on the OL. Sherman was lights out on his OL recruiting and provided NFL level teaching. He may not have as much trouble as A&M has had in the past, but its nowhere near what Mac was doing back then. OU was the x-factor as they were recruiting lights out at that time as well. Now all A&M has done is open up Texas to the SEC. Thanks. :comeon:

Everyone looks at who A&M lost to and no one looks at who they beat. Mainly a bunch of nobodies. Dapping their schedule shows a complete lack of knowlege about football. I don't think much of this year's UT team, but there's a good chance they finish with the same record. A&M beat no one of consequence. A mediocre UT team can do that too.

Again, overrated, overanked, overblown thought about who they are. That's your history.

Nice conjecture but A&Ms recruiting has drastically improved as well. From not even top 25 in 2011, top 15 2012, top 11 last year, to top 5 thus far for 2014. For all your "time for school" you have lots of opinions and very few facts.
