Rinse and repeat. They're doing it in Nashville now and it's disgusting the way home prices and just everything overall has risen :scust:

Yo I went to Nashville last year for a conference and everybody was talking about how much development was going on and how prices were rising.

Was riding with a local and they were pointing out every new building downtown and how it used to be something else a couple years ago.

Breh was hurt on that car ride lol

Yeap. All of the locals hate all the growth and expansion. It has pushed a lot of them out of the city due to the higher property taxes. I know folks that live in a 150k home with a $1M crib across the street and more sprouting up. They're property tax went up by almost 20% in a year!!

New York had an exodus after 2020 too iirc and I think they’re pretty much back to normal.

Overall, I think nikkas gotta realize it’s being Red in a Blue State and it’s actually being Red. Some 7 figure nikka that just doesn’t want to see homeless or have poor people bring his property value down is different than Billy Bob Joe.

A lot of us (Californian’s) would have a hard time out in Texas.

For one it’s big as fukk. Annoyingly big. You gon have to get used to whatever city you wanna be in because Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio. All far apart. LA is much closer together. A freeway away.

It’s different than our way of life due to the southern influence and all that. And other than the cost of living, it’s not much that attracts LA folks there. Before I changed jobs, I was gonna move to Austin. I visited several times and could tell it would be a hard adjustment for me.

But the food is good out there and the women are fine. That’s all I need.

home insurance rates are up and property taxes keeps increasing, landlords aren't gonna make anything cheaper.
With less demand from high income earners the rent prices will have to come down.
