Sohh I have been doing mixes for my show Nostalgic Haze, and it dawned on me that the next show falls on Juneteenth.

Give me some recommendations for such a powerful day, it could be chopped n screwed tunes, unknown tracks, if you a rapper drop that track, and so forth.

I want to make this jawn a blast to create with the eucalyptus treatment :blessed:

As long as I can remember, 409/713/281 Juneteenth activities usually feature Frankie Beverly and Maze, not really Geto Boys, UGK, Dj Screw/Michael Watts.

Juneteeth, in the 80's/90s was an old head celebration - i.e they were 50-60 in 1990s, so they were born in the 30's-50's, came up in the 60s-80s.

My generation, Gen X, didn't really run with it until recently (say the last 10-15 years)
Same thing with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. There was always a "Black" night, but it wasn't like it is now.

I'd comment more, but not trying to step on people's Polo Sport Duck Boots.
