I agree UT has been more consistent the last 10-12 years and has better pros, but OSU in the 2000s - 2012 has 2 or 3 final fours, including a runner up. OSU has a title (albeit old) and like 8 or 9 Final Fours to UT's 3.

Bro...MSU has 27 straight, Gonzaga has 26 straight, and KU has 35 straight (vacated 2018). Purdue's missed 4 or so going back to the late 80s.

I think UT has only missed the tournament i think 3 times since 99 which is still impressive.

While it's more of a football state, there's just too many people in TX for there to not be talent. I'm willing to bet that there's a 5* or very high 4* produced by the state every recruiting cycle.
