Funny how the cost of shyt seems to blow up a little more every other month, yet wages have been pretty much stagnant for decades.
The rich never seem to be rich enough, and rationalize their greed by blaming it on "underachievers", the same ones we rely on to do all the shyt for us no one else wants to do. Because why should the less mentally agile/disabled/less fortunate get a piece of the pie? They should be grateful for the scraps and crumbs that fall off the plates of the disgustingly bloated capitalist pigs as they gorge on the feast the very same unfortunate souls yall love to shyt on are the ones to serve yall.
A hustle old as time itself.
And then wanna act surprised when the crime rate goes up, as if it wasnt all by design.
We all get that some skill sets are and should be more valuable than others. No one could argue in good faith that someone who didnt finish highschool should make what a doctor or lawyer who did like 12 years of post highschool education.
But how much wider does that disparity in income have to be before the elite are satisfied with their capitalist victory? There is a good reason the QB takes a knee at the end of game they already know they won.

Where they still paying 7.25 at? Even mcdonalds starts at 10 now. Most major retail companies jumped to 15+ in the past 5 years. Places with high turnover are realizing that upping wages results in profit over time because they end up with more experienced workers. I've directly dealt with come-and-go coworker situations and when you there when everybody you working with is new and/or has no relevant work history, almost every day is a struggle.
