Not really my point. Although I get what you are saying, this story is just a microcosm of what’s been going on around the country. Excessive increases on the price of housing. I mean damn, a near 24% increase in rent is crazy. This is occurring everywhere, so you are likely getting a worse space for the same money you are paying.

We are renting our starter home next month :mjgrin:
Neighbors just rented for $1700 so imma see if can get that or more since I don’t think he marketed his house well. I’m also using a management company so I just collect the money :hubie:

should clear $16k after taxes/expenses per year :wow:

I’m not a greedy ass though, $1700 for a 3 bed 2.5 bath is super fkn reasonable. Once they start increasing taxes in the neighborhood though is when that gets passed off to the renter.
