The Projects is the solution???

We've been down that road before. But this an instance where they need to step in with some caps tho. Can't just be forcing folks to pay 400 dollars more for the same place they lived in the month prior.

Who said the projects? Plenty of other countries build affordable housing for their population. Affordable housing doesn't just mean poor especially when the middle class starts to get priced out of renting or buying a home.

Dallas have a lot of Mexicans that get into political, public service, management, customer service positions and have a gatekeepers mentality towards Black people.

Don't be fooled and think these "Chicanos" are your friends.

They have the same stereotypical mentality of Black people as CAC.

Every race bands together and looks out for their own except blacks, who still largely believe in that 'big tent' nonsense they've been sold by Democrats. None of the other races care about blacks nor do they want to team up with blacks against whites. At the end of the day, most people look out for their own tribe.

Why's it legal to do this to people who have already been paying the same rent for at least a year or two?
If I have a service that is a need I’ll charge as much as I can because the market bears it. Why do Audis cost $50k when it only cost $10k in materials and labor to make? Same situation.

Everything price is going up. It likes Americkkka wants another Great Depression :francis:

A collapse is inevitable. The rate at which things are rising is far outpacing salary increases, so a collapse is inevitable. I have no honest idea how people are affording to keep it together unless they are just banding together with several people living together. The housing market is 'on fire' from these large companies getting super cheap loans and buying everything up and from people who have fat tech salaries trying to rush and buy something before they get priced out as well.

We need to stop building car infrastructure if that's ever gonna be possible, just think about all the empty ass roads and parking lots that could be used for housing and expanding and improving the transit systems to where people can afford to go to work without wasting money on cars and those expenses.

Been trying to tell folks this. The major Southern cities are not that cheap anymore. This is a suburb too. Imagine what the cost of apartments are in Uptown and Downtown Dallas.
Man I seen a townhome in Highland Park going for $6k per month the other day. I’m trying to buy but the only places with new builds that are affordable are like Forney , Royse City, Prosper and spots way out the 820 loop in Ft. Worth. If I ain’t got shyt by spring, I’m just gonna hold out and move out the area.

lotta folks keeping west coast salary (until they get caught) and going to Austin. If it wasn't for hurricanes I would be looking at Houston myself lol
Same. I looked in the area my daughter and her mom live in Htown and I can get way more house at the price point I’ve set than I can in the DFW area.

the ONLY benefit of living in the DFW is the lack of state income tax. other than that, there's no advantage IMO.
Yea that’s all fine and dandy till you see what they hitting you across the head with in property tax if you purchase a home. It’s outlying areas that’s building up offering low property tax rates at the moment. Spot I was hellbent on coppin before I got outbid on had a yearly tax bill of $10k. I’m exempt so it ain’t phasing me a bit but the avg person gotta be mad af

How the hell are you exempt? You over 65, disabled military or spouse of a dead first responder/military?
