It’s a bunch of black people living in slave era conditions, in the 3rd largest metro area in the USA.

They’re not gonna fix it up because they really want to force all the nikkas out and gentrify it, city lowkey tried some fukked up gang injunction that would have nearly removed every grown black man in the entire area.

They want to gentrify but the violence and and poverty keeps development away. And a lot of the men out there have property and ownership of the neighborhood and they’re not trying to go either.

Well I grew up off Selinsky/MLK area. I just am greatful to have had the opportunity to escape that whole area after childhood. I know my life would be completely different otherwise.
