Serious question... Why couldn't all these people just stay in school? Public school is free. Why not just stay in school, focus on good grades, go to a good college (via scholarship or community college) and get their degrees and become productive members of society ? What's stopping them? Public school is free, community colleges offer tuition assistance and grants for low income students, etc. Things immigrants take full advantage of.

Excuse use to be that the schools were trash and the books were old. My rebuttal was that the nuclear bomb was made off 1920s math books.
End of the day if the effort is there so will be the progress.
Now we all have access to the most knowledge in human history at our fingertips. no matter how bad a school district is you can go on khan academy, you can watch MIT and Harvard lectures for every class they offer for free online, etc. Yet ppl spends hours a day on IG starting beef with "opps" and other goofy shyt. Zero accountability and no one is being HONEST about the issues or how to fix them (hint: it's not begging white saviors to get rid of a system that benefits them)
