Text and Dm's should be illegal to expose to the public? Agree or disagree?

It depends on the situation. There are way fewer situations where it would be okay and socially permissible to make public a sex tape.

If you want to go that far, then it should be illegal to record someone without their permission and release the video to the public. In the majority of cases, the person recording the video has more rights than the person on the receiving end.

Nope. Cause some ppl do and say foul things in texts and dms that need to be exposed.

To equate the leaking of texts to revenge porn is the dumbest thing I ever heard and makes me think you're a dumbass.
I didn't say it was like sex tapes. I'm asking if it should be treated that way. From a right of privacy stand point.

When you give someone information, unless you have an agreement of confidentiality in place, you no longer have any reasonable expectations to privacy. You do shyt publicly its public.

WELL IT IS ILLEGAL
TO RECORD A PHONE CONVERSATION
WITHOUT CONSENT
SO THIS MAKES SENSE.

That's on a state by state basis. Anytime I come across where they made it law I get suspicious. It's certain matters I absolutely record phone calls and archive text strings. My complexion demands that I do. I will never get caught with a switch up and be called a liar.
