I think he's some what limited. He was pretty bad in Terminator Salvation and he wasn't even marketed in Public Enemies. Maybe that was just a bad time for him because he nearly fell off until he redeemed himself with the fighter.
You got it wrong breh. He's a great actor and has an undeniable body of work to prove it.
And as far as falling off goes it's not true either, because if you look at his filmography he's not one of those Tom Cruise/Will Smith actors that needs to be a superstar and lives for it. When Tom Cruise signs onto a movie he has the full control and almost always rewrites it.
Bale on the other hand does a big blockbuster but then switches it up. He tends to opt for good films instead of being a superstar. Batman followed by being second fiddle in New World, small budget Harsh Times and Rescue Dawn and The Prestige (great film where he shares spotlight).
Batman again then a small role in Public Enemies and shares spotlight with Wahlbeg in The Fighter. And now small budget Out of Furnace and American Hustle (again a good movie where everything doesn't revolve around him).
Where he fukked up though is Terminator Salvation he got too smart for his own good. Should of thrown that movie into the bushes as soon as he saw that McG was directing it. McG brehs.
