I wouldn't thank him for everything.
He fukked up in Libya and Syria. He made concessions on the Public Option.
Due to all the backlash from defending Skip Gates, speaking out on Trayvon Martin, and having to defend himself over the Jerimiah Wright issue, he was eventually molded into a milquetoast fence sitter when it came to race issues. However, on this front, near the end of his presidency and based on what he said he will do out of office, he seems to be regaining some ground on that front.
He gets
out of for me. Better than Bush and will be infinitely better than the upcoming shytshow.
