this is a high level position for a top Wall Street firm. its not the same as applying at verizon.
Well you said that you was looking for a place to start like the usual entry level job.

At least specify that in your first post.

Dudes here had to go at you just so they can get the full picture in the later post.

I hope they didnt have to dig for info about you during the interview and you were able to explain yourself fully.

Whatever nikka, I love the work i do, its exciting to me. and at my level of compensation my work affords me the lifestyle i want and then some. i get mad time off, take vacations constantly and have no complaints about my work life balance. and this job will further enhance that ballance if i get it call me a slave if you want but what are you out here doing thats so profound and better than what i do.

Don't misunderstand. I was not referring to your situation in particular. If you're getting paid for something you enjoying doing, you're already ahead of the curve. If you think you're being compensated well enough for your time then you're winning. I'm just saying the same doesn't hold true for the majority of people.

Center self, inner self
Just keep it sincere and talk about the interview and how excited you are. Make mention of how you can make an immediate impact and detail what that impact will be.

This.

Thats some next level arse licking. Motherfukkers should be sending me thank you letters for even attending their interview. :childplease:

Stupid nikka, nikka alert.

thank-you notes — Ask a Manager

This has some good advice. A thank you note is less about thanking and more about reiterating your interest and qualifications, and expanding or clarifying questions/points that you briefly touched on in the interview.

Eh, while I think that's a good idea, that may be a little much. I'd devote maybe 1 or 2 sentences to qualifications, but I'd typically stay away from saying too much. A simple thank you, a word or two reiterating interest, and a statement of enthusiasm for the job or perhaps a words on being impressed would be enough. Thank you letters have gotten me jobs before, too, but I've never used them to clarify anything I said during the interview.

just send an email that says: 'preciate the interview, homie. holla at a nikka if ya'll wanna hire me....

Lookin for a place to start with my letter. A starting point, template, example thank you letter. That wasn't in reference to an entry level position
Oh well you should of been more clear cuz your wording threw me off.

I hope you were more clear during your interview as well. :manny:
