Mods, not sure who could do this but what do you think about having members vote on 3-5 banned members to bring back every Thanksgiving? No one out of control but we lose some good posters from time to time due to one overheated discussion.

Are banned posters really waiting around to be allowed back in? Also what are the regulations for banning? Cuz I see people banned and then back a few weeks later, like Reggie and Malcolm. Others get banned and never make it back. So what exactly constitutes the difference between a month long ban and a lifetime ban?

I have no idea tbh. Some deserve to be gone for good but when someone has like 30k posts since 2012 and gets banned I always wonder if it is something forgivable since they obviously aren't a complete troll.

I don't think anyone ever needs to be banned. Put'em on ignore or in the bushes and keep it moving.

nah, i just lurk now. dudes really thought that my reaction to that fakkit zimmerman murdering trayvon martin was "what about black on black crime" shyt was more sad to me than anything else. but not really a perception that would go away

Is it possible for us to throw up the usernames of 10 banned posters in TLR and the top 5 vote getters have their ban revoked? Which mod would handle this?
