Yeah the expectation game killed homie...those "mixtapes" he dropped were fukking AOTY caliber albums...I came in fully expecting LFTU to be a certified unquestioned classic and I came away legitimately disappointed...shyt's a tragedy because it's almost as if the album never came out or something...Def Jam seemingly gave him no support on it...and it falling short of critical expectations killed his darling status in internet circles...it's a shame because he deserves all the accolades and recognition in the world for the quality releases he put out leading up to it
