The hipster fanbase she's trying to attract won't be around for long (they're always looking for the next "novel" thing) so she'd be wise to not alienate the few "urban" fans she has. Speaking as a fan it's annoying as fukk to see people embarrassed/ashamed to be a rapper.

Don't know if you're trolling or not but yeah I'm kinda getting that too. She definitely wants to be accepted by hispter cacs which is not in itself a bad thing but she's starting to throw "urban" culture under the bus to get that acceptance .

Nah I'm actually completely with you. I wouldn't have made this thread if I wasn't a fan. Her music's dope and her attitude is usually pretty cool but she lost me here. She's been saying this bullshyt for a little while now.
