If it wasn't for the coli, I wouldn't even know about this movie. It seems these companies don't know how to market these films cause its not as simple as some of you weirdos think about "LGBTQ backlash." These things sneak under the radar and I hear about them where? The coli. For a slew of folks being anti-LGBTQ, I sure get a lot of news updates from this forum on all things "batty."

I have no problem with Gay characters in movies, but they are clearly being over represented in hollywood at this point. You are making a movie for a much smaller audience but expecting a large audience to show up. Men rarely show up for chick flicks, to the point that romantic comedies are largely seen as a bygone genre, and yet you expect us to show up in droves for lgbtq movies? Lady above claimed she wanted at least 50% of characters to be gay, studies i've seen only show that 7% of audiences identify as such. Some of these movies are successful anyway, like brokeback mountain, but those are outlyers, the demand for these films isn't as high as they think.

To be fair she said 50% minority not alphabet set but you right.

Pansexuality is the romantic, emotional, and/or sexual attraction to people regardless of their gender. Like everyone else, pansexual people may be attracted to some people and not others, but the gender of the person does not matter. People of any gender identity can and do identify as pansexual

Every time I hear that explanation, all I hear is they like busting nuts and don’t care who bust nuts with. I have another word for that. I guess I’m ignorant cause I just dont get it.

Between that Bros movie flopping and now this movie flopping, it's been a bad year for LGBTQZHLRT entertainment.

It’s quite obvious to see the company is getting cold feet with these movies, the lightyear and onward failures probably opened their eyes because they’ve also opened a hole in their wallets, I wonder if these flops translate into higher Disney world ticket prices? I’m just speculating

I doubt it. Disney has been eating good off of Marvel and Star Wars and continue doing so.

I saw this movie last night on Disney+. Why would they spend so much money on this clear straight to Disney Plus original? Everything was mid but the visuals.

The whole queer romance thing was tacked on there after the story was done. How an crotchety old white man that’s been away from civilization for 25 years whose whole thing Is he’s biased against any man who ain’t raging testosterone just shrug off finding out his biracial grandson is crushing on another dude. Why not have that scene be a moment of acceptance? Instead he went right in talking bout let me show you how to spit game to these young brehs with no hesitation. They basically took the normal plucky young girl character and made her a gay black male.

If that’s what the are going to do, they really should focus on PG13 and up and make those statements with a lower budget. Kids aren’t going to get it no way. While Dreamworks feasting off the minions saying banana, Disney out here thinking parents are going to pay to have that talk to their 6 year old.
