I actually liked his second and third album better. I thought the first one was too punchline heavy. Riotttt is still one of the best collabs I've heard. Ras killed him though. "I'm half Hitler half Jewish, I'm gassed off myself".
Album would have been great if he wasn't trying to force so many punchlines. He had the delivery, he had the mic presence, he had interesting subject matter, the music fit his subject matter... he didn't need to be so aggressive on the track all the time. He became even more rappity rap after this album, and I liked him less and less.
Looking back on it, Chino must have been a pretty big fan of Treach & LL.

I always loved "It's All Bad". It's like a rappity rap version of LL's "Cheesy Rat Blues", another favorite of mine from back in the day.
That's one my favs from LL for sure, but I don't remember it being talked about much back then. Never thought I'd see or hear it mentioned in a hip-hop discussion.
