the older i get and see how life plays out, it blows my mind. Folks that you were so sure would be on the straight and arrow and just have life figured out, ends up faltering along. Some gets succesful while others are barely making it.
we often create these alternate reality in our mind where everything is okay..but when you get faced with the reality(like he did), it can be a jolt to your system.

I noticed that too. Like she didn't feel sorry for him at all. Can't imagine what I would be like if I was in her position seeing an old friend in such an unfortunate situation. I might even cut him some slack. I don't know, maybe they dated and he did her wrong. Who knows, but her smile did have me feeling some type of way.

It's not like it's kindergarten or first grade, puberty starts hitting for like 90% of kids in that range, you should remember most of the people from there.

Which is one of the many reasons I've gone out of my way to not interact with any of those people including deleting my facebook and severing ties with them in real life.

They were hoping I would be the person that failed to make them feel better about themselves...I refuse to put myself in that position.
