Whenever any sound is being played in Chrome, there's a little audio icon next to the tab description that lets you know where the sound is coming from. It's great for juggling multiple tabs and not closing or refreshing every tab because you're trying to get rid of a hidden ad.

I noticed it like a week or two ago. Also, if you have a cam on, a little recording symbol shows up on the tab that's using your webcam.
