Never watched contagion, but I watched Outbreak.
Y'all think it's bad, but the virus that was in Outbreak was killing people within 2 days no matter the age.

Ya it was also limited to that one town. That 100% kill rate also made it easier to convey the urgency of the situation. Contagion is a much closer depiction of what’s happening now...and even that virus has a much higher kill rate than coronavirus.
Internet idiots have been shouting how coronavirus isn’t a big deal because of its low kill rate, but in reality its low kill rate is what has allowed it to spread so far, so fast. People didn’t take it seriously, so they got lulled into a sense that it was just another version of the regular flu and didn’t take precautions. Combined with its long incubation period and we’re dealing with an unprecedented beast.
People actually believe bats created this coronavirus and yet the only source of that is from the CDC that created the very scenario in this picture.
