Like I said it has a sloping roofline that gives it a similar shape to the A7, but it's not a "hatchback". Lots of car makers are doing that now, the 4 series sedan comes to mind. The head room in the back seat in one of those are terrible if you're tall.

That civic’s not a hatchback, either...there is a hatch civic, but niether it or the one above looks anything like an A7

Had one as a rental..car is smooth and so quiet.Was averaging 28mpg with a heavy foot.Car is only 3100 lbs so the 160hp isn't bad at all.Had remote start,backup cam and plenty space..I'd actually get one cause used they're like 18k.Would recommend this car :yeshrug:

I got a chance to use the 2018 Malibu when I took my Traverse in to the dealership for service.

It's nice, the interior is comfortable and it had built in Wi-Fi, onstar with xm radio, keyless push button start. The only drawback is the acceleration. That car moves super slow. Other than that it was nice.
