I think he needs to be in a legit acting role. Like a sitcom or a role in a movie. Sometimes you gotta work in reverse so people really see your comedic talent
Same reason will ferrell or Kenan Thompson haven't done one.
Sketch comedy is a different skill set from Standup. Druski should be trying to get on Snl rather than doing a special, then parley that into movies.

He could build a skits show with a modern in living color vibe.
Problem is those types of shows are dying. They probably have a much lower profit margin than him doing skits and partering with sponsors directly.

Eddie Murphy is the golden example of doing BOTH sketch comedy and 1 hour stand up specials
Damon Wayans did sketch comedy, and did multiple 1 hour special standups
Also Chris Rock, Aries Spears, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx, etc
some people can do both. most can't
I actually wouldn't use Chris Rock as an example here. He was a below average talent in sketch comedy, far better at standup.
Damon wayan was the reverse. goated at sketch comedy, kinda mid at standup. all these years zero classics
But the point is, not every sketch comedy comedian has the talent to do standup. And they don't have to, you can make a comedy career without any specials.
They are two seperate skills regardless if people exist with the talent for both

His show Martin is a combination of a Sketch comedy show and a Situational Comedy show
How would a standup special help Druski's career? You're obviously not a really comedy person outside of watching clips on Instagram it seems like lol. No shade though
