That USC dynasty 30 for 30 documentary could have been so much better!

I was so looking forward to it, but even before it dropped I knew it wasn't gonna be shyt, just because it was only an hour long. Even so, the documentary itself could have been so much better.

First, they included that old foagie producer, I guess trying to incorporate USC's prestigious film school into the documentary, which took up way too much time. Second, they didn't even provide all the obstacles and elements that made their run so special (being voted number 2 in 2004 and having to split with LSU, Mike Williams leaving after his sophomore year, losing to Aaron Rodgers their first year and beating him their second year, Bush's first break out game against Virginia Tech, being voted as the number 2 greatest football team of all time in 2005 BEFORE playing Texas, etc). Finally, they focused way too much on Texas as being their main adversary. shyt, the fukking documentary made it seem like that Vince Young TD was the last play of the game when USC got the ball back but just couldn't do anything with so little time left. I would have rather them put more emphasis on the comp they played.

I mean there were a lot of things they could have done with the documentary. It just seems to me like it was directed by a nikka who didn't even keep up with college football. shyt is so disappointing man. I swear these 30 for 30s can be hit or miss. When they're done by a good director, them shyts are off the hook, but when they're done by some half-ass director, shyts suck.

Maybe I'm just upset about it because I loved that dynasty, and they remind me so much of my undergraduate years. I could be overreacting :yeshrug: What y'all think?

Yes but the BCS Champ wasn't considered the national champ unless it was voted number 1 in the AP poll, so technically they had 2 national championships (before they were stripped).

Not true. BCS has their own trophy and award and the AP has their own award. LSU is still BCS Nat'L champs in 2003.

Typically the BCS Champ is voted number 1 in the AP poll, but this did not happen in 2004, which is why there was a split national champion. Yes, the BCS and AP have different trophies, but as I said, it's very rare for BCS Champ to not be voted number 1 (back then).

I aid this in the other thread about the doc. Only new piece of information i gained from watching was wtf was going thru Reggie bush's head when he threw that dumbass lateral in the Rose Bowl.
I actually learned that winston justise didn't make the right block for Lendale. Either way, watching the game I felt that should have punted.
