We're on the blood path now
I was so looking forward to it, but even before it dropped I knew it wasn't gonna be shyt, just because it was only an hour long. Even so, the documentary itself could have been so much better.
First, they included that old foagie producer, I guess trying to incorporate USC's prestigious film school into the documentary, which took up way too much time. Second, they didn't even provide all the obstacles and elements that made their run so special (being voted number 2 in 2004 and having to split with LSU, Mike Williams leaving after his sophomore year, losing to Aaron Rodgers their first year and beating him their second year, Bush's first break out game against Virginia Tech, being voted as the number 2 greatest football team of all time in 2005 BEFORE playing Texas, etc). Finally, they focused way too much on Texas as being their main adversary. shyt, the fukking documentary made it seem like that Vince Young TD was the last play of the game when USC got the ball back but just couldn't do anything with so little time left. I would have rather them put more emphasis on the comp they played.
I mean there were a lot of things they could have done with the documentary. It just seems to me like it was directed by a nikka who didn't even keep up with college football. shyt is so disappointing man. I swear these 30 for 30s can be hit or miss. When they're done by a good director, them shyts are off the hook, but when they're done by some half-ass director, shyts suck.
Maybe I'm just upset about it because I loved that dynasty, and they remind me so much of my undergraduate years. I could be overreacting
What y'all think?
