It really did feel like a brand new WCW with him as the guy
They were getting it together slowly but surely. They always had the talent, they just started using them way too late
Wasn't a fan at all of Jeff Jarrett being a main eventer though

I remember in the early Harlem Heat days, I used to think Stevie Ray would be the breakout star of that team. 
Eventually I realized it would be Booker.
Still, I remember when there was talk of him getting the world title I didn't think it would actually happen. Personally I thought he was great but I just didn't have any faith in WCW running with him. He ended up being a dope champ and had a good run.
Yeah that feud with Triple H still bothers me. There's no way Triple H should have gone over in that racist angle. We NEEDED a payoff there and never got it.

Didn't all of Jarrett's main event matches end in a random ass guitar smash finish?
at the guitar spot but at it being Jarrett's gimmick, only the O.G. Honky Tonk Man made it work (and New Jack).
