Inspired by this Patrice O'Neal bit:

This hypothetical challenge would involve you having to drive around your city's roughest neighborhoods and projects for a whole hour while blasting music that you secretly like and would be embarrassed to be caught listening to. You'd be filmed, and the footage would be posted on a popular YouTube channel. You do it, you get $1,000 bucks. Easy money.

The rules would be as follows:

1. You must pick 3 songs. Each song would be played on repeat in a random order during the entire hour-long drive.

2. All four windows would have to be rolled all the way down and the music must be loud enough to be heard at least a block away.

3. The songs you pick have to be of the type of music that would look "out of character" for a Black man to enjoy, i.e. songs that would get you viewed as "corny" or "lame". So for the older dudes on here, posting Funk or old-school R&B's not gonna cut it. "Flabby" doesn't equal "corny".

4. If any driver or pedestrian yelled at you or gave you the :dahell: while you're at a stoplight, you'd have to give them the :birdman: back. No copping out and saying you're just doing a challenge :whoa:, you'd have to own it.

So if given the chance, would you do this challenge? And if so, what songs are you picking? I'll go ahead and post mine to get the thread started :

MGMT- Future Reflections
Only track I know from MGMT is "Electric Feel". Found out about it after hearing Frank Ocean's cover version called "Nature Feels" last year. After hearing the original from MGMT I immediately recognized it from a car commercial that used to air when I was a kid in middle school. :wow:

I love music :mjcry:
