Yeah and the 94 Championship game sucked badly. Spotting them 21 points and Dallas couldn't fully recover. Outscored them 28-17 the rest of the way but that touchdown before the half was a killer. Think it was 31-14 at the half. Deion interfered with Irvin in the 4th when the score was 38-28.

The 93 Cowboys IMO were the best Cowboys team in the 90s. Better than 92 and way better than 95. If only Emmitt played in those first two games. But they went 12-4 with one of them being that stupid azz Miami loss on T-Giving.

Since the season turned out ok that loss should be funny, especially coupled with his fukk up in the previous super bowl

Because they were the sum of their parts. They had no superstar QB to attract attention.

The 1991 Slurs is probably the most forgotten great team in NFL history.

What makes them crazy to me is that they were picked by many publications to win the Super Bowl that season (Joe Gibbs famously blew up at someone in the media about that in the preseason after going 1-3).

Then they went out and won the Super Bowl and were dominant in doing so. They started the season 11-0.

They lost 2 games that season by just 5 points to two teams that won 10 games (meanwhile the 1994 49ers were blown out 40-8 at home to the 7-9 Eagles )

That Niners team was the only football team I've ever watched where watching them on defense was equally as exciting as watching them on offense.

Yeah, I think that team gets overlooked since they are sandwiched in between three Super Bowl champion Cowboy teams. But IMO, the 1994 49ers were better than any version of the 90s Cowboys.


It's a shame that the Chargers upset the Steelers. I wanted the Steelers to smack around that 49ers team, and at the very least the Super Bowl would have been a lot more memorable.
