This run from 99-05 was fukking unparalled and needs to be reappreciated. I'm thinking from the teardaclubupthugz album to most known unknowns and the solo work If i were to make a best of the era....

That will be a divide in this thread but i strongly disagree...yeah they were underground and darker but that doesnt mean better. Their sound improved with every release staring with Chapter 2

Edit:especially considering their best release ever was when the smoke clears

That first Chrome was dope, the second, not so much.

Wyte's first 3 albums slapped, Doubt Me Now being the best.

Frayser Boy's "Gone On Dat Bay" is damn there classic to me. I can let almost every song ride, crazy considering it's like 19-21 tracks on there.

My fav Prophet/HCP albums will always be Gangsta Blac's "Can It Be?," Skinny Pimps "King Of Da Playaz Ball" and Three 6 "Chapter 2: World Domination". That's the Holy Grail of Memphis albums to me.
