Justin Upton not only available but being SHOPPED? :merchant:

The extra WC spot has a lot more team believing they're in contention, so selling teams might benefit despite the new rules regarding offering arbitration....

We'll see...

Biggest names on the market

Upton
Greinke
Hamels
Garza
Dempster
Headley
Quentin
Scuttaro

Jays are likely to be sellers, imo. Too many teams ahead of them and their pitching has been pretty poor all year.

Could move Johnson or Encarnacion. I'd suggest moving EE, could get a decent package in return as their aren't many bats on the market

Wonder what it would take for the Yankees to get someone of Upton's caliber?

Probably Banuelos and Campos + a position player (Gumbs/Williams/Culver) :manny:

Sanchez is their top prospect, but the DBacks just locked up Montero so it's not a great fit.

Swisher will be a free agent next year, so Upton could replace him. Plus the Yankees have enough pitching depth, there is no need for one via trade. If we don't have to give up Sanchez then I contemplate on making that move that HHR proposed.
