He will not be a top 5 pick next year.

Wiggins
Randle
Drew Harrison
Aaron Gordon
Noah Vonleh
Aaron Harrison

All of those guys will go ahead of him next year. That's not to count if a guy like Wayne Selden blows up next year.

And we have no idea how ANY of those dudes will adapt to the college game and whether their weaknesses will be exposed to the point that they either feel the need to stay another year or they get bumped down in the draft.

It sounds good to say and I guess people will believe it if nbadraft.net says so, but even the strongest high school classes only have about 4-5 dudes picked in the lottery and they NEVER go 1-9 like some people seem to think they will next year.

The hyperbole on this class is getting out of control.

Fair enough and these arent exact sciences but you can tell theyres s stark difference in talent level at the top when 2013 is gushed over by everyone and the 2012 freshmen college class by all accounts will probably go down as one of the worst and least talented classes ever

2013 could flop but the guys at the top at least have franhcise player upside if things breka right last years class even the bets players ceiling is probably solid rotation player

Im suprised but not shocked that Glenn Robinson decided to return to school. He probably wants a chance to be the man and if he balls out i can see him going top 5. He's got good size and can shoot and i think he could be a two or a three in the NBA. Mcgary aint a shock neither but if he falls flat on his face it could come back to bite him in the ass. But i think he will ball like the 5 star recruit he was during his junior year of high school.

I like Anthony Bennet in this draft.

He's somewhat of a tweener, but I think he's athletic enough to make it work at SF

CJ McCollum could do some damage, to.

Might be the best offensive player in the draft.

Payne's probably making a bad decision but whatever.

I had Austin as a top 10 pick going to OKC.

Don't forget McDermott went back to Creighton.

I'm running out of players to actually mock

What a shytty draft. 2014 will be special, we might be able to get a talent like Willie Cauley-Stein with the 22nd pick. 2014 draft is gonna be thicker than Luke dancers.

That draft will be great. That said I will not just assume every freshman will enter, especially someone like Vonleh who is talented but passive as fukk. The Harrison twins may not rank as high for several reasons, and some guys simply might not improve. Regardless, that draft should be impressive.

With that said, I wonder why guys who have an opportunity to advance in a weak class are not in this draft. Remember in 2011 when they had random Euros /Int'l guys getting picked that even Fran Fraschilla didn't even know about? It might look like that again.
