That's why I'm not too worried especially in regards to the pitching. If this keeps up in mid-May then there are serious problems.

I don't see them trading for Ohtani but I think it's time to start entertaining Mauricio in the outfield. Not primarily but enough to feel safe using him there. I don't think it would hurt his trade value either.

We haven't even hit the home opener yet. Way to early to panic, word to wfan. I'm concerned about Max, but I think once he adjusts to the clock he'll be fine. This is the first time he's ever had to speed up and I'm sure it's affecting him. Verlander seems to be improving, and I'm sure he'll be fine as well. Didn't watch the game today but I was glad to see that Pete had a big day.
