Passing Game

Carson Vinson was again active as the backup LT, replacing Joe Noteboom after a 2-game inactive hiatus. He played 5 snaps on the FG kicking unit.
Vorhees: Andrew had a solid outing and did not rotate with Emery Jones. He was party to 2 pressure events (bulled into cone by DT Heyward, ½ pressure, Q2, 9:31; whiffed on stunting OLB Highsmith, 1/3 QH, Q4, 7:21). Lamar also ran him out of a pressure when bulled by Heyward (Q1, 2:12). He was also flagged for holding Heyward (Q4, 1:56) which put the Ravens in a deep hole on their final drive. Of his 9 missed blocks, 7 were losses at the LoS. He had 4 blocks in level 2 and did not deliver a pancake. He connected on 6 of 7 pulls. He did not have a highlight.

Linderbaum: Tyler had a decent game overall despite some pass-blocking difficulties. He was party to 5 pressure events (backed up then allowed PD by DT Benton, pressure, Q2, 2:16; bulled by DT Black, pressure, Q2, 0:27; bulled by Black, ¼ QH, Q4, 7:26; failed to pick up stunting ILB Queen, ½ pressure, Q4, 4:29; bulled by Black, pressure, Q4, 0:47). Lamar also ran him out of a pressure when bulled then beaten right by Heyward (Q3, 3:24). Of his 4 missed blocks, 3 were losses at the LoS. He had 8 blocks in level 2 and delivered 1 pancake. He connected on both his pulls. He had 2 highlight combination blocks (Q1, 14:04; Q4, 4:14).

Faalele: Daniel had a second consecutive “inverted” game where he performed better as a run blocker but struggled as a pass blocker. He was party to 5 pressure events (gave up on block of CB Echols too early, ½ sack, Q1, 5:43; beaten inside by DT Otomewo, pressure, Q2, 3:58; failed to pick up Queen, 1/2 pressure, Q4, 13:51; beaten outside by DT Lee, ¼ QH, Q4, 7:26; bowled over for initial pressure by DT Black, QH, Q4, 4:38). Of his 8 missed blocks, 5 were losses at the LoS. He had 5 blocks in level 2 and delivered 4 pancakes. He connected on all 3 of his pulls. He had 4 highlights, the most impressive of which was blocking the stunting ILB Queen into ILB Wilson and pancaking both (Q1, 12:46).
Scoring: 75 plays, 62 blocks, 8 missed, 1.5 pressures, 1.25 QH, 1/2 sack, 52.25 points (.70 per play). That’s a
D with or without adjustment.
Faalele began the afternoon with 3 highlight blocks on the first 5 plays. Sadly, the rest of the day was a big step down.
Rosengarten: Roger played well vs TJ Watt. He was party to 4 pressure events (beaten inside by OLB Watt, ¼ QH, Q4, 7:26; beaten outside by stunting Heyward, 2/3 QH, Q4, 7:21; bulled by Watt, 1/2 pressure, Q4, 4:29; bulled by Watt, pressure, Q4, 2:43). Lamar also ran him out of 1 pressure when beaten inside by Watt (Q1, 7:08). He was also flagged for illegal formation, mischarged to Stanley, (Q2, 2:16) Of his 5 missed blocks, 4 were losses at the LoS. He did not make any level 2 blocks nor deliver any pancakes. He was not assigned to pull and did not have a highlight.
