You still play your game with a balance attack this bs you posted has nothing to do with game flow and momentum, you only down by 12 and with a balance attack you also giving your defense rest
You’re saying absolutely nothing.
“Play your game”….what exactly does that mean against indisputable factual evidence of the play by play calls.

They started the 2nd half with 3 consecutive run plays…PUNT
They scored a TD the next drive.
Following drive, started behind the sticks with a 10 yard penalty. 44 yard pass Henry, 14 yard pass. I can understand if people feel Monken should’ve called a run play at Cincy’s 16 but we started the game being unpredictable (instead of run—run-pass) and it WORK…very first play a successful pass.
Next drive we attempted to run the ball, Vorhees penalty takes us from a 3rd and short to 3rd and 8….makes no sense to run when our o-line isn’t moving bodies. Had the o-line been good with run blocking I wouldn’t mind a 3rd & 8 run since its 4th down territory.
Following drive, we need a quick score and our defense can’t stay off the field (constantly giving up 3rd and 4th downs).

I’m trying to get the conversation based on facts, not arbitrary opinions that sounds good but means nothing.
-Penalties on offense
-Offensive line struggles with run-blocking
-Our defense not being able to stop the Bengals on 3rd/4th downs
-Time remaining in the game
Running the ball more than we did in the 2nd half would be doing the team a disservice.
When Monken attempted to established the run in the first drive of the 2nd half…it was quick possession that led to a punt. Making our defense more fatigued and wasting a possession.
You’re one of the more reasonable people who posts here. For Monken or any OC not only is he thinking about getting the offense going, we can’t compromise our defense. Our offensive line is better at pass blocking than run blocking (they’re bad at both).
