But you could have walked away with much more. Not much he can do when you have 1st and 3rd worst records in the NBA
Not saying it would happen or if it is possible but if you were the Lakers would you trade the 2nd pick for Joel Embiid? To be honest I wouldn't pick it passed the Sixers. These clowns were shopping him at the deadline

Honestly i think towns, Jahlil and embiid are all on a similar level. I'd probably take towns over both.Okafor and embiid because he's been the healthiest

I don't see Philly making that trade, you basically got your new age Twin Towers and that coach got this young team keyed in defensively, they will probably draft D'Angelo Russell with that 3rd pick and now you have a core.

I'm saying even with Embiids foot issues, I think the 76ers will bank on the biggest potential as opposed to the safer pick, imo.
Just a lot to hope for when you have 2 big guys who have suffered serious leg injuries so early on. A core of Noel, Towns, and Russell/Mudiay is a safer bet going forward and is probably one I would make personally if the Lakers wanted to try to get Embiid.
Anyway, thread is silly. I don't think the Lakers will risk it and even if they are dumb enough to do it, I think the 76ers want to keep Embiid.
