did yall like the 50 cent era?

I remember it bringing a lot of negative energy back to hip hop. I was in 9th grade when 50 blew up so i saw it happen in real time. suddenly good dudes you used to know turned into super thugs. i'm talking kids from the burbs trying to be tough guys now. alotta beef, alotta mean mugging. it actually wasn't that fun of an era to grow up as a teenager because all the fun was sucked out of hip hop during 50's reign--everything became super serious--as opposed to the ja rule era where I just remember good vibes

50 era was kinda lame

he had a few good joints but yea it was too serious and it got lame as hell once it was 50 vs game then just diss tracks to everyone

i'm not big on wwf rap battle them tracks aren't timeless

i like timeless music

i didn't like GET RICH album that much

i started liking 50's music when he was droppin the G-Unit Body Snatchers mixtapes which is pretty outside the norm

but i'm abnormal

There were different pieces of the 50 cent era.

I know this is gonna sound cliche as fukk but I don't care. Musically, I think he peaked either with or just before GRODT. Once GRODT dropped he was on a slow decline.

G-Unit mixtapes were some of the most fun rap pieces I've ever heard.

50 and the G unit era was timeless because we got GOOD ASS MUSIC from all sides, GRODT, BFM, HFM, TD, SOC, TOAPF..... CLASSIC FUCCIN MUSIC
