Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Now that Kobe has left, these are the remaining players drafted in the 90s -

Kevin Garnett
Tim Duncan
Dirk Nowitzki
Elton Brand (retired last year but came back for 17 games to help Philly)
Andre Miller
Manu Ginobili
Jason Terry
Paul Pierce
Vince Carter

Kobe & Duncan are top 8 all-time, Dirk & KG are top 20-25, Pierce is somewhere in top 60 and half these guys will most likely retire at the end of the year. It's really the end of a great era of talent, so many arguments over Kobe, Duncan, Dirk and KG, all the way back to Sohh, now they're leaving us 1 by 1.

I will always love the game, but these dudes been around 16-21 years having them leave now is :francis: As much as I argued over Kobe, I didn't want him to retire, you think I'd watch all them Laker games if I didn't think he was good? :russ: I'm just glad I got to see them, even a dude like Manu who probably wont go out with a lot of fanfare was just dope to watch.

You really could have left Elton Brand out. Even though he was drafted in 99, it seems weird putting him on that list.

Ahhh, that last GREAT era of "straight to high school" players, before nikkas like Darius Miles and the like ruined it....him and KG set that perfect standard.
nah cac envy the reason for the age limit and not Darius Miles

shyt sucks, hopefully the youngsters coming up are inspired by these greats and can bring back some of the things they gave to the game.

Hopefully there are more socially awkward young dudes in the gym right now, that seems to be the one common thread of greatness for a lot of these dudes.

Fistful of jewels
I felt instantly flabby when they cut back to Hubie and Mike after Kobe walked off for the last time. I never feel that way, ever. But I watched this kids first game, and mostly every one to tonight. Damn.

It's incredible how all of those guys (besides Brand) were able to play at a high level for such a long time. Straight competitors and even on their last legs, they still had some special moments left in them.

How lucky were we to be able to watch them the past two decades? Two decades of greatness. :wow:

I kind of see it with Giannis, he seems to have an obsessive drive with being the best, have you checked out any of his work?

Not enough of it, only here and there. Russ and Steph are the only two that remind me of that same ruthlessness. Hopefully the Greek Freak can build a nice routine to work around and make himself a great one too.

“We call it night school,’’ said Bucks backup point guard Tyler Ennis, a regular participant. “We’ll have a practice in the morning and then have night school. It’s not mandatory; anyone can show up.’’

While most of the Bucks’ starters frequently take a pass on night school — instead taking the time to rest their bodies — there is usually one exception: point forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Asked his long-term goals as a player, Antetokounmpo doesn’t hold back: “Be a winner in this league. And to be one of the legends.

“There have been a lot of players in this game,” said Antetokounmpo, who was born in Greece. “They have left and no one remembers them. But there are some unique players that 50, 60, 100 years from now you’ll remember them. You’ll remember who Kobe Bryant was, you’ll remember who LeBron James was. I want to leave a legacy behind me.’’

Kobe -
"He's one of my role models," Antetokounmpo said, "I always watched him when I was younger. It feels great that he acknowledged what I did today.

"It was a great night, it felt like a party. It was a pleasure and really exciting to have him here."

In his postgame press conference, a sage Bryant didn't hold back words of kindness and motivation for The Greek Freak to take his game to the next level.

"I said listen man, it's just a choice you're going to have to make. If you want to be that great player, then you're going to have to make certain sacrifices and go after it." Bryant said. "He has the potential to do it. He has the physical tools, the intelligence. Now it's just a matter of believing in himself and going after it. He has the talent to be a great player.
