:mjlol:This will basically become a circle jerk were plebs, people born in the 90's and basic bytches wax nostalgic about a decade in time that was just as fukked up as it's predecessors and it's contemporaries.

:mjlol:Never mind this is the decade where black and most other forms of music became even more saturated corporate fodder, surpassing even the glitz and grandeur of the 80's. fukk it, we got Jodeci!

I know this 90s thread has been done b4 but let's be real the 90s was indeed the last great decade for black culture, the last time we had anything to ourselves.
it's not culture appropriation when we're constantly giving it away :mjcry:
it is if we're being finessed

When Black people still knew what it meant to "party", instead of today's definition which is to go to parties/clubs and stand around posing.

It's all about being a poser, these days. Everything is poser.

From the standing around to the addiction to the taking pictures of yourself "looking" like you're having a good time, instead of putting your phone and your ego aside and actually having a good time.

It's all plastic and fake. The 90s was the last time it was real.
