The WWF brought in π people into the Pontiac silverdome. An undeafeted Andre the Giant managed by Bobby Heenan faced the world heavyweight champion, the stoic, boy next door Hulk Hogan in event coined by historians as the battle of gettysburg ™. Torn hamstrings, Kidney failures and cardiac arrest followed but there's an another side to it all.

WrestleMania 3 was really the end of an era. AWA was on its last legs financially, Jim Crockett gave the book to Dusty Rhodes and Bowzer took over the United States. Wrestlemania 3 was the first event to be broadcasted on Television. Vince raided locker rooms across the country, but this was what truly ushered the Era we currently live in.

Pagentry, BMF connections and Fame was what made the WWF .Vince Mcmahon was to become the gate keeper of Professional wrestling . It was said he snorted a line of coke before the opening, in which he introduced Aretha "BlackSugar" Franklin. In the mainevent, Andre was billed as being well over 7 foot 4 but in reality he was close to 10 ft. Weighing well over 9 tons.As the story goes, Andre was undefeated in the United States.

From humble beginnings in a post world war 2 era France, Andre earned every luxury life gave him. He was 6 feet tall before the age of 2 and didn't receive a high school diploma. Professional wrestling was his ticket to a better life. On the other side of the globe Hulk Hogan found fame early in life, after a high school audition a young Paul McCartney chose Hogan to be the lead guitarist in a band known then as the Blackjacks. Hogan later got his next door neighbor John Lennon to join the band

Hogan found band life boring and joined the C I A shortly after. Fast-forward 30 years later, Andre was set to face the gladiator Hulk Hogan on Planet Namek. Andre never held a world title. Being well over 13 ft tall there was no man that Andre couldn't beat. Jealousy and envy bestowed the giant, Bobby helped feed his insecurities.

As the Thirty First century begin, the man that lead wrestling to be termed Sports- Entertainment was Hulk Hogan. No man ever took Andre off his feet but that was going to change on the night of March 29, 1987.

Threats were made before the event. Seven bomb threats in, a number of a Navy Sealz guarded the area. The unthinkable happened as Hulk Hogan Military press-slammed Andre the Giant during the main event. This is what they came to see. Ricky steamboat defeated Randy "Macho Man" Savage to become the intercontinental champion but nobody gave a 2 fukks about that.

A number of health complications later took place. Lifting the 13 ton 11 feet tall Andre took its toll, as Hulk Hogan blew out his Back in five different places. He received third degree burns over 90 percent of his body, he contacted type 3 diabetes and needed over 300 stitches over his forehead alone. Surgery followed on his spinal cord, he ruptured his 57th Vertebrae picking the 9 ton Goon. A post Op visit revealed full blown Aids found in his teeth. His friends in Nasa later replaced 3 of his arms.

As Four Andre mother time knocked on his door as he was found dead in his hyperbolic time chamber. Andre fell into a deep whirlwind of bad shyt. Andre had his fair share of stitches too. Andre died 3 times in the backstage area before being revived 6 times before the main event. A taped fists Undertaker later convinced Andre to do what was right for business. After the monumental military press slam Andre fell into a deep coma.

Andre had to get his Lungs drained and two of his kidneys failed 2 minutes after the event concluded. No bone marrow donors were to be found and it was believed Andre died of cardiac arrest. Rigormortis devolved and a dead andre continued to delight the audience as he jobbed in a 3 hour iron match against Shawn Michaels.

A beavered Vince later induced the recently departed Andre into the hall of fame 6 hours after his death. Hogan left No comment.

Andre was a true professional.

You know, maybe it's just me. I want 30 to have no stage. Just have the entire ring surrounded all around by the crowd. Have a L-shape alley with the classic blue or black metal bars.

It's mainly the experience and saying you were there because 90% of people not seeing shyt in those stadiums staring at a little ring

I was at that level for Wrestlemania 18 cuz i didn't even kno it was mania season until i walked out of a NBA game that day n a dude was sellin tickets for cheap

You couldn't see shyt at the upper level, like 2 stick figures moving around but no details. Which is why they have screens tho, watching the screens wasn't bad at all cuz atleast ur there and it cost less/same as buying the PPV

Me n my homie scooped some swayze seats in the lower level after the first match or 2 tho
